Best Western Long Beach Inn

This hotel had a central position to awesome restaurants in the downtown area. And it was also just off amazing beach and boardwalk, shops and amusement rides and the business center.

Large and astonishing breakfasts, and amiable staff.

fairly clean hotel in a beautiful building just off downtown as well as the center of town. cereal, eggs and hot waffles for breakfast with view of car park. central location in long beach. for tea or coffee visit diamond espresso nearby.

My wife says that the beds were uncomfortable and squeaky. A few extra amenities for families with kids would be nice, like a play area or more activities.

Came here for 7 night stay, had a really nice experience. The breakfast looked awesome and great with variety of options. This absolutely great hotel had a central setting to many shops.

The rooms were very clean, the towels were actual towels, nice, thick and big, had 3 nights scheduled, called the day before and they got us a room for a 4th night, crew was very friendly and accommodating. This was a perfect place to stay. A little more expensive than we usually go but well worth it. Our room was right outside the elevator door and they had carts for our luggage. Tv, dvd player, microwave and small fridge. It was great.

My husband can not have breads, so fruit and hard boiled eggs would have been nice at the breakfast. We stayed in September, but a no-show showed up on our credit card for August. Then we got there and they did not have a reservation for us. We got a room for the three nights, and the manager took care of the billing problem on Monday morning before we left.

We had no wash clothes on the 2nd night because they ran out of them we were told. The bath towels we could tell were old as very thin and worn looking.

They were cool with my dogs.

They didn't have a/c, and that wasn't mentioned anywhere. Also they had me booked for the wrong day. They had me booked for the night I made the reservation not the actual night I showed up. We got the last room they had, so it worked out, but it was close to being a disaster. As we discovered the booking mistake the girl at the counter was to busy to see if they charged me for that night, so I am now trying to get in touch with a manager to confirm what nights I was charged for.

The ocean beach is a short walk away. Breakfast options were diverse and satisfying. The grilled dishes stood out as a highlight. The limited dining choices on certain weeknights were disappointing, and the noise from nearby activities occasionally interrupted the peace. The room itself was comfortable, but the pet policy could have been clearer regarding fees.
